Summer Semi-Formal

The event will serve as the official induction/initiation of our new 7th graders into the Youth Group. Cristina Del Barrio has done much of the leg work researching a catered private party at Dave & Busters.  For an Italian Dinner, dessert, drinks, 86 credits game card the cost is normally $43 dollars but we are asking for $30 per person.  In order to receive this deal, we need to have at least 20 confirmations. 
Here's what's included:

Menu
ITALIAN FEAST

Italian roasted rosemary chicken
House salad or Caesar salad
Linguini alfredo and cavatappi pasta with marinara
Four cheese pizza bites with basil pesto
Garden vegetable medley
Fresh baked rolls with butter

Dessert
BROWNIES AND COOKIES ASSORTMENT - Chocolate nut brownies, freshly baked cookies and delicious strawberries

Drinks
Unlimited refills of tea, coffee, and soda

POWERCARDS!!!!

There will be 86 chips on each card! Games are normally between 3 and 5 chips each play. That works out to 17 - 28 arcade games for the night!
AGENDA - FRIDAY AUGUST 31st
5:15pm - Meet at Church (Teen Room)
5:30-6:00pm: Devotional
6:00-6:15pm: Hang out/Take Pictures
6:15-6:20pm: Load up Van & Cars
6:21 SHARP!: Depart for Dave & Busters at the Irvine Spectrum
6:40pm - Arrive at Irvine Spectrum, park vehicles and walk over to D&B
7:00 - 10:00pm: Dinner, Socializing & Games at D&B (FUN! FUN! FUN!)
10:00pm - Head back to vehicles
10:15pm Depart Irvine Spectrum
10:30pm Arrive back at Church parking lot

Remember, we are planning this as a semi formal event.  So, gentlemen please wear nice slacks, button up shirt and tie.  Ladies, please wear a nice dress (not a formal dress, but like a homecoming dress). We will be dinning outside in the patio that we have reserved so you may want to bring a light jacket or sweater if it gets chilly.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE----TJ needs to know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you can make this event.  Call me or e-mail him. If we do not have at least 20 confirmed people, then we will have to reschedule to another event. 
Parents, according to Dave & Busters rules, I have to have at least one chaperone for every six teenagers.  Therefore, I will need at least three volunteers who would like to attend the event as drivers and chaperones (the church will pick up the tab for the chaperones).  Please call me if you have any questions.
